Chemistry
  Battery Chemistry refers to the technology used in the cells of the battery. Motorola Original batteries use one of three chemistry types - Nickel Cadmium, Nickel-Metal Hydride, and Lithium Ion - each with their own distinct advantages.

Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) batteries can be the most cost-effective option for many applications, able to sustain a larger number of charge cycles than other battery types. They can withstand extreme conditions, continuing to perform well in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +50°C.

Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries can provide up to 40% greater endurance time than that of NiCd batteries of similar size. They have less toxicity which makes future disposal more environmentally friendly.

Lithium Ion (Li-ion) batteries have a higher energy-to-weight ratio, offering a lighter, smaller power supply for more compact devices. They are least prone to "memory effect" meaning they are more easily able to be recharged to a maximum capacity.
Capacity
  The Milliampere-hour (mAh) rating gives a relative indication of the battery's capacity to continue operating without needing to be recharged.  It is closely correlated to the battery endurance time.
Endurance
  The endurance, in hours, represents the average operating time the battery can provide from fully charged.  The estimate is based on a combination of talk time and standby time.
Number of Charge Cycles
  The number of charge cycles that a battery is able to accept effectively equates to the number of times it can be recharged after depletion.

Number of Pockets
  The number of pockets or slots equals the number of batteries that the charger is able to hold and charge silmultaneously.  Typically chargers tend to have either have one pocket, referred to as a 'Single Unit Charger' or six pockets, referred to as a 'Six-Way Charger' or 'Multi-Unit Charger.'

  We sell black earpieces as standard, as they have proven to be most popular.   However, certain customers have a preference for other colours - such as beige - in order for the earpiece to be less obvious and more discreet.  If you are interested in purchasing earpieces in colours other than black, please contact us.
Dimensions
  These can give an important indication of how the product shapes up in relation to its usage environment.  Dimensions are given in Millimeters (mm) in order of Height, Width, and Diameter (H x W x D).
Weight
  For Batteries and Chargers, the weight can be a particularly relevant factor in choosing between alternatives depending on the intended application.  Battery weights are given in grams (g) and Charger weights are given in Kilograms (Kg).
